Locations
One of the most important elements of each session is the location. It’s the anchor point around which everything else is organized. It’s how you decide what to wear, it’s what I refer to before I start planning out poses, it sets the stage - the vibe.
When deciding on a location, consider the colors within your home and what will coordinate or clash with your walls. Do you want lush greens or muted cool tones? Do you want wide open spaces with lots of blue sky, or a super colorful mural?
I love a location with lots of variety to ensure we capture a wide range of images. Below are some of my favorite locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, but if you have somewhere special in mind, I’ll follow you anywhere.

Choosing a location is one of the most important creative elements of a shoot, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating. Sometimes the best location is somewhere simple and local with beautiful light.
